The stunning Harris tweed Hooded cape.... no two ever identical - these are pieces of wearable art -100% Made in Scotland. The Hebridean Hooded Capes are exceptional, completely made in Scotland and finished to a very high standard, a wonderful addition to your wardrobe that you will forever treasure.

Each hooded cape has been made from either limited edition Harris Tweed that has been woven specially for Anna Macneil, or from tweed that we have woven themselves in their own loom shed. Each has a generous hood that is lined with polar fleece and trimmed with genuine sheepskin... so soft! The capes are fastened with a single, large, hand-made button. There is Celtic knotwork embroidery around the edge of the hood and on the front corners of the cape. The cape is designed to hang slightly open at the front. They only have a few meters in any one color/pattern so they can guarantee that no two are the same.

Anna Macneil is run by a grandmother and her granddaughter. Based in Kirkwall, Inverness they specialize in creating products that reflect Scotland's History and landscape using technology that spans the centuries - from a 100 year old Hattersley loom to state-of-the-art embroidery machines and a laser cutting machine, and finally, everything is hand finished.
